The Pelham Group
In June of 2022 I was hired as the Brand Communications Manager of The Pelham Group - a boutique real estate brokerage in Central Texas. The company was coming out of the “COVID Real Estate Boom” and was seeking new talent, ideas, and a fresh way of looking at the world of real estate - an industry that has historically “stuck-to-what-it-knows”.
As my first venture into the world of Marketing - my first task as Brand Communications Manager was to rebrand the entire company. Simple, right? Not at all but I was up for the challenge!
The old branding had served the team well but the founders were seeking something “modern”, “innovative”, “sophisticated”, and “sleek” to match their business outlook on ensuring they remained pioneers in the industry (as the previous years proved that real estate was anything but stagnant).
We decided as a team that we felt our initial logo and color-scheme felt dated. We wanted something that would withstand time. What better way to do that than to take things back to the basics - black and white. I crafted a new logo to compliment the “sleekness” we wanted to exude - choosing a box designed to represent the idea that we think “outside of the box”.
We incorporated this same thought-process with all of our updated designs.
